DOWN HOME DAYS
Held in the Spring on the 1st weekend in May featuring concerts, food, dance, parades, and Arts & Crafts.  This year's event was on May 6th.

Cannon Firing at Crawfish SpringsWAR BETWEEN THE STATES DAY & ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL
Held during the 3rd weekend in September featureing Living History Demonstrations, Parades, and Arts & Crafts.  Activities during the day will include re-enactors demonstrating refugee camp life, artillery firing, soldier camp life and period food. Refugee camps will represent life for area farm families affected by the battle.

CHRISTMAS IN THE STREETS-  Planned for Saturdays in December.  There are many Holiday activities including Parades, Christmas Shopping, Tree Lighting, Choirs, Music, and of course...SANTA!!

TOUR de GEORGIA- North America's premier, professional cycling event and rolling festival. The 4th annual edition, April 18-23, 2006, is now the highest ranked cycling stage race, 2. HC, in North America, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale and USA Cycling. Proceeds from the event benefit the Georgia Cancer Coalition, a statewide network of people and organizations working together to fight cancer. The international time trials started on April 20, 2006 in Chickamauga, Georgia and ended in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
