This site encompasses the collaboration between Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee centered around the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War.

GORDON LEE MANSION
Completed in 1847, used by Union forces and as a hospital during the Battle of Chickamauga, still standing today.

LEE AND GORDON'S MILLS
The mill was occupied by both Confederate and Union armies. The Confederate under General Bragg the first few days of September 1863. Later September 19, 20 1863, General Rosecrans stationed a detachment at the mill to prevent Confederates from crossing the creek.

GEORGIA CIVIL WAR
The Georgia Civil War Commission was created by the 1993 Georgia General Assembly. It's mandate, as spelled out in Senate Resolution 21 is"to coordinate planning, preservation, and promotion of structures, buildings, sites, and battlefields associated with this significant period of our common heritage".
