pollution is also known as "nonpoint
source pollution," as it comes from
many dispersed locations throughout
our metropolitan area. There are many
different types and sources of stormwater
pollution. Below are the four main categories
of land uses that have impacts on our

Involves businesses
that are retail oriented or perform
services for customers. Examples
include auto service shops, gas
stations, restaurants and lawn
